We are pleased to share that FICCI in association with Food Industry Asia (FIA), Singapore is organising a focused seminar on “State of Play on Food Reformulation Efforts in India” on 18th November 2022 at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi.
As we understand, the ongoing consumers demand is more towards healthy, wholesome, and sustainable foods. The Indian food industries needs to take necessary measures to ensure that healthier and sustainable food is easily available which is economical and accessible to all.
Innovation of food products through reformulation to get healthier and more nutritious food seems to be one of the solutions which is a stepwise approach to achieve it. The food product reformulation can be achieved by gradually decreasing sugar, salt or fat or by increasing the positive ingredients like dietary fibres, plant-based proteins, etc.
Considering the critical importance of food reformulation in today’s context, FICCI & FIA aim to bring forward this seminar to explore the status of Food Reformulation in Food Processing Ecosystem in India. The key topics of the seminar are following:
