We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join a leading dairy manufacturing organization and ensure the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
🎓 Qualification:
- Dairy Technology
- Food Technology
- B.Sc. (with relevant dairy/food industry experience)
💼 Experience:
2–5 Years of experience in:
- Cheese Manufacturing
- Dahi/Yogurt Processing
- Milk Powder Production
- UHT & Aseptic Technology (High Acid and Low Acid Products)
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards during production.
- Verify product recipes including Fat, Protein, Moisture, pH, and ingredient percentages before batch release.
- Conduct quality checks for package integrity, residual oxygen, net weight, and labeling compliance.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, PRPs, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
- Manage rework usage as per company guidelines.
- Review packaging details including MRP, mandatory declarations, vegetarian logo, and address accuracy.
- Conduct finished product testing and release products as per specifications.
- Maintain laboratory chemicals, consumables, equipment calibration, and GLP standards.
- Support complaint investigation and implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
- Conduct internal audits and shelf-life studies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Support R&D teams during product development, renovation, and commercialization trials.
- Ensure regulatory and food safety compliance across manufacturing operations.
