The upcoming facility is designed to become the largest yogurt and cultured dairy products manufacturing plant in the world, significantly enhancing India’s dairy processing capabilities. - 10 lakh litres per day milk packing capacity
- 2 lakh litres per day UHT milk processing
- 1 lakh litres per day ice cream production
- 20 metric tonnes per day paneer production
- 10 metric tonnes per day ghee production
- 10 metric tonnes per day dairy sweets manufacturing
- 2.5 lakh packs per day flavoured milk production
- 1,000 metric tonnes per day yogurt (dahi) and cultured dairy products production
These capacities position the facility among the largest integrated dairy processing plants globally.
Boost to Dairy Farmers and Rural Economy
The Amul Bengal Dairy Project is expected to benefit lakhs of dairy farmers by increasing milk procurement, improving market access, and generating employment across the dairy value chain.
