📍 Location: Bardhaman, West Bengal
Shalimar Group is urgently looking for experienced QC & QA professionals to join its meat processing operations.
🔹 OPEN POSITIONS:
- QC & QA – Production
- QC & QA – Breeding
- QC & QA – Shift In-Charge
👤 CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Gender: Male candidates required
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Food Technology
- Experience: 2–5 years
- Industry: Meat Processing
- Joining: Immediate / Urgent basis
- Salary: As per experience and interview performance
🔍 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor quality standards across the meat production process.
- Conduct raw material, in-process and finished product inspections.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
- Monitor GMP, GHP, HACCP, SOP and SSOP practices.
- Check product temperature, weight, appearance, packaging, labelling and storage.
- Maintain QC/QA records, inspection reports and production documentation.
- Identify non-conformities and implement CAPA.
- Conduct hygiene and sanitation inspections.
- Ensure proper cold-chain and storage practices.
- Support internal, customer and regulatory audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Maintenance and other departments.
- Train production staff on food safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
- For Shift In-Charge, independently manage QC/QA activities during the assigned shift and ensure proper shift handover.
⭐ PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Good knowledge of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, SOP & SSOP
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to identify quality issues and take timely corrective action
- Willingness to work in shifts and in a meat-processing environment
