Vikram Tea Processor Pvt. Ltd . Jalna is looking for an experienced and passionate NPD Manager to spearhead our New Product Development department! If you are an expert in Pre-Mix, Speciality & Flavour Tea Tasting, Blending, and Food Safety with a knack for launching innovative products, we want to hear from you.
Role Overview:
- Position: Manager – New Product Development (NPD)
- Location: Vikram Tea Processor Pvt. Ltd, Jalna 431203 Maharashtra 🏢
- Onboarding: Immediate joiner preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 Years 🎯 in Pre-Mix & Instant Tea segment.
- Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology 🎓 (Diploma in Tea Management & Farming preferred)
- Certification: Food Safety Certification is mandatory 📜
- Package: Negotiable for the right candidate 💰
Mandatory Criteria:
Proven track record handling QA-QC, NPD, and Food Safety specifically in Speciality, Pre-Mix, Flavour, & Garcinia Tea.
Primary preference for candidates from the Tea Industry, followed by the Food Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Department Leadership: Overall accountability for the NPD department, covering instant pre-mix, speciality, flavour, CTC, and green tea.
- Tasting & Blending: Expertly blend and taste CTC, Orthodox, Green, Oolong, Speciality, and Flavour teas based on Organoleptic Evaluation.
- Product Innovation: Coordinate with R&D for product conceptualisation, positioning, cost-effective resource utilization, and brand extension.
- Sourcing & Costing: Procure the BEST tea at the right price while strictly maintaining quality and quantity standards.
- Cross-Functional Sync: Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and suppliers to seamlessly launch and monitor new brands.
- Market Insights: Run market research, monitor brand expenditures against budgets, track trends, and identify new growth strategies.
