We’re hiring! Join our team as a Factory Operations Manager.
Lead our production excellence in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. If you have a background in food manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily production operations ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality, and safety protocols.
- Develop and manage production planning, workflow scheduling, and inventory control to meet demand forecasts.
- Lead, train, and supervise production teams, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, OSHA).
- Manage procurement of raw materials, ingredients, supplies, and oversee the maintenance and optimization of machinery and equipment.
- Analyse production data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
- Implement lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including production records, inventory logs, and quality control reports.
- Prepare and present operational performance reports, efficiency metrics, and process improvement proposals to senior management.
- Cultivate a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment in a fast-paced production setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the food or bakery industry.
- Experience in managing teams and driving operational efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage technical operations and process improvements.
