NIFTEM-K invites applications for the position of JRF Quality Assurance Executive under the project Establishment of CFRA, NIFTEM-K as a Proficiency Testing Provider for Fortified Foods.
Job Details:
- Position: JRF (Quality Assurance Executive)
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Duration: 12 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹37,000 + 8% HRA.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for women, SC/ST/OBC and differently abled candidates as per Government of India rules.
Essential Qualifications:
Option 1
M.Sc./M.Tech in any of the following:
- Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, Microbiology
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in food testing, food analysis, laboratory operations and quality control.
OR
Option 2
Bachelor’s Degree in Science B.Sc. / B.Tech / B.E. in:
- Food Technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in food testing, food analysis, laboratory operations and quality control.
Desirable Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in:
- Quality Assurance, Quality Management System, Testing Laboratory, PT/ILC Programme, Related fields
Desirable Training:
Training on Internal Auditing as per ISO/IEC 17043:2023 for Proficiency Testing Providers.
Desirable Knowledge:
Candidates should preferably have knowledge of:
- ISO/IEC 17043:2023 and requirements applicable to proficiency testing providers
- ISO/IEC 17025:2017, particularly where PT activities involve laboratory testing
- Document control and record control
- Internal audit, nonconformity and corrective action
- Risk management and continual improvement
- PT programme planning and PT item handling
- Homogeneity and stability
- Participant communication and result evaluation
- PT reporting
- Statistical concepts used in proficiency testing, including assigned value, standard deviation and z-score
- Internal auditing of management systems, preferably ISO/IEC 17043/17025
- MS Word, Excel, data management and preparation of quality records/reports
- Written and verbal communication
- Preparation and maintenance of SOPs, formats, quality records, audit documents, CAPA records and PT documentation.
General Information:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Interview date and time will be communicated through email only.
- Candidates must appear for the interview with their original certificates and relevant documents.
- The engagement is purely contractual and co-terminable with the project.
- The engagement will be for a period of 12 months.
- Selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment.
