🔍 Key Responsibilities:
📦 Material Knowledge & Core Testing
- Perform inspection and quality evaluation of packaging materials including laminates, paperboard-based folds, ice cream cones, corrugated boxes, wooden pallets, stretch and shrink films, and metal cans.
- Ensure all packaging materials meet company specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct testing as per established quality parameters.
📝 Development, Trials & Documentation
- Support new packaging material development from concept to implementation.
- Conduct production line trials and transit trials.
- Prepare dummy samples and maintain KLD documentation.
- Ensure accurate documentation throughout the development process.
🎨 Artwork & Aesthetic Evaluation
- Evaluate packaging artwork for design accuracy and print quality.
- Verify Pantone colors, graphics, and technical feasibility before commercial production.
- Coordinate with internal teams for artwork approvals.
🤝 Vendor Management & Audits
- Conduct quality audits of packaging material suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve quality concerns.
💻 Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Procurement, Production, R&D, and Quality teams.
- Maintain effective communication with external suppliers.
- Prepare reports using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
