The Akshaya Patra Foundation is looking for a Manager – Operations to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal.
🔹 Experience: 4–5 Years
🔹 Qualification: MBA / B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Food Technology
🔹 Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
🔹 Industry Preference: Food Industry / Large-scale Food Operations
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead overall plant & kitchen operations 🏭
• Ensure production quality control & food safety compliance ✅
• Implement operational excellence practices – 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma & TPM
• Manage FSMS implementation, monitoring & continuous improvement
• Ensure product identification, traceability & proper storage
• Drive corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities
• Lead and manage employees and food-production teams 👥
• Oversee production, inventory management & timely food distribution
• Ensure adherence to FSSAI, ISO and applicable statutory requirements
• Drive team training, productivity and resource optimization 📈
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders 🤝
