💼 Position: QA Officer
💰 Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
⏳ Experience Required: 3–5 years in the food manufacturing industry
About the Role:
The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for implementing food safety systems, monitoring production processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
This role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and manufacturing best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Safety Management
- Implement, maintain, and improve food safety systems in line with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and FSSAI requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct food safety risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
Production and Process Monitoring
- Monitor manufacturing floors and production lines to ensure hygiene and quality standards are maintained.
- Verify adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Identify deviations and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Control and Testing
- Develop and execute testing plans for incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Coordinate laboratory testing, shelf-life studies, and nutritional analysis.
- Review quality reports and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Audit and Compliance
- Lead internal audits and support external audits conducted by regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
- Prepare the facility for customer audits and surprise inspections.
- Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and compliant.

Documentation and Traceability
- Maintain records related to production batches, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and product release processes.
- Ensure complete product traceability and effective document control.
- Review and update SOPs, specifications, and quality manuals.
CAPA and Root Cause Analysis
- Investigate customer complaints, product defects, and process deviations.
- Perform root cause analysis using quality tools.
- Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
- Candidates must have experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Certifications Preferred
- HACCP
- GMP
- ISO 22000
- FSSC 22000
- BRCGS
- Internal Auditor certifications
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and documentation expertise
- Knowledge of CAPA, root cause analysis, and audit management
- Ability to train production staff on food safety and hygiene practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems
