A significant milestone for the dairy and food retail sector was marked in Ladakh as Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. (MDFVPL) and the Ladakh Milk Federation exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the esteemed presence of India’s Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
The event was also attended by Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Rajiv Ranjan Singh, popularly known as Lalan Singh, along with Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Vinai Kumar Saxena, Chairman of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) Meenesh Shah, and several other dignitaries.
The partnership aims to strengthen the availability and retail distribution of Mother Dairy products across Ladakh, ensuring improved access to high-quality and trusted food products for local consumers. The collaboration is expected to enhance the reach of popular brands such as Safal stores and Dhara cooking oil in the region.
Officials stated that the initiative will contribute to improving food supply infrastructure and expanding organized retail access in Ladakh, while supporting consumer convenience and product accessibility in remote areas.
