New Neemrana facility begins operations as the brewer expands production capacity and strengthens beer supply across North India.
Neemrana, Rajasthan | September 10, 2026: AB InBev India has invested approximately ₹200 crore ($20 million) in a new brewery in Neemrana, Rajasthan, as part of its efforts to expand manufacturing capacity and strengthen its supply network across North India.
The new manufacturing facility is operated by Rochees Breweries Limited (RBL) and began operations in July 2026. The brewery will supply markets including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand, along with other markets in the region.
The facility has been developed with brewing and production systems designed to support large-scale operations, improve manufacturing efficiency and strengthen regional distribution capabilities.
Strengthening North India Supply Network
Located in Neemrana, the new brewery is strategically positioned to support AB InBev India’s distribution network across North India. The company expects the facility to improve its ability to serve regional markets while increasing the efficiency of its local manufacturing and supply-chain operations.
The investment forms part of AB InBev India’s broader strategy of expanding its manufacturing footprint and strengthening local production capabilities in India.
Investment Highlighted During India-Belgium Discussions
The Rajasthan investment was highlighted during business discussions involving Kartikeya Sharma, President of AB InBev India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever during De Wever’s visit to India.
AB InBev India said it has invested more than $1.5 billion in India since 2016, covering manufacturing, supply-chain infrastructure and other business capabilities.
Commenting on the investment, Kartikeya Sharma said the company remains committed to India’s long-term growth and sees the country as an important market for its future expansion.
He also highlighted the company’s focus on strengthening local manufacturing capabilities, creating employment opportunities and contributing to economic development.
Expanding Local Manufacturing
The Neemrana brewery adds to AB InBev India’s existing manufacturing network in India and is expected to play an important role in supporting the company’s regional supply requirements.
With the new facility now operational, the company is looking to strengthen production and distribution capabilities while supporting growing demand across North Indian markets.
