Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and company quality requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, review, and maintain QMS and FSMS.
- Prepare and maintain Quality Manuals, SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, HALAL, KOSHER, and applicable standards.
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs), OPRPs, and preventive controls.
- Ensure implementation of HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices across manufacturing operations.
- Review raw materials, packaging materials, production records, and finished products.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities and implement CAPA.
- Plan and conduct Internal Audits, GMP/GHP/PRP audits, and Management Review Meetings.
- Support customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
- Maintain quality documentation and prepare weekly/monthly QA reports.
- Conduct employee training on Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, Hygiene, and SOP compliance.
- Monitor supplier quality and outsourced activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality performance.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years (Preferred: 5–8 years) in the Food, Flavours, Fragrance, Essential Oils, Chemical Manufacturing, B2B domain.
