Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Head with a strong background in the FMCG or Dairy industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading quality teams, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the organization’s Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) strategy.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and other applicable statutory regulations.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
- Drive internal, customer, and regulatory audits while ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor product quality, manufacturing processes, and hygiene standards across operations.
- Manage quality documentation, SOPs, training programs, and employee awareness initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to improve quality systems and operational efficiency.
- Support business objectives through effective quality management and compliance practices.
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Quality Management or Food Safety will be an advantage.
Experience & Skills:
- Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- 10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
- Mandatory experience in the FMCG or Dairy industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality systems, and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in handling audits, regulatory inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
