- Position Title – Manager Quality Assurance – Supplier and Distriution
- Location – Mumbai , India (Head Office)
Role Summary:
• Lead end‑to‑end Supplier Quality Management across 146 suppliers through approval, audits, COA compliance, risk assessments, and CAPA governance to ensure consistent supply of safe, compliant raw and packaging materials.
• Drive Distribution Center Quality Governance for 23 DCs by ensuring adherence to QMS, GMP, storage/temperature standards, pest control, FEFO, and product integrity
• Ensure Quality Compliance across 300+ Distributors through standardized quality audits, infrastructure and hygiene assessments, handling practices, and capability building of distributor and sales teams.
• Own Market Quality & On‑Shelf Product Performance by executing national surveillance programs, monitoring sensory and packaging performance, analyzing defects, and driving corrective/preventive actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead Quality Risk Mitigation & Incident Management across the extended supply chain by conducting RCA for supplier/DC/distributor issues, implementing strong CAPA, reducing market defects,
• Lead end‑to‑end Supplier Quality Management across 146 suppliers through approval, audits, COA compliance, risk assessments, and CAPA governance to ensure consistent
Other applicable scope defining dimensions:
• Ensure regulatory compliance in food safety, packaging, storage, and market handling across the extended supply chain.
• Govern documentation, traceability, and change‑management to maintain material and product integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects, waste, and supply‑chain risks.
• Strengthen cross‑functional alignment with Procurement, CS&L, Sales, and Manufacturing for seamless quality governance.
• Build capability across suppliers, DC teams, and distributor networks through targeted training and audits.
Qualifications:
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities – Strong HACCP, GMP, ISO/FSSC systems knowledge. Skilled in supplier audits, COA review, and traceability. Understanding of warehousing, DC operations & market handling. Sharp analytical skills for RCA, defects, and complaints. Strong communication and cross‑functional influence.
Experience and Education – B. Tech/ M. Tech Food Technology With 10-12 year of experience preferably in supplier and Distribution quality domain
