The foundation currently serves over 2.25 million meals and 1 million morning snacks every day to schoolchildren and aims to scale up to 6 million meals per day by 2030, focusing on safe, scalable, and efficient food delivery models.

At The Akshaya Patra Foundation, quality and food safety are at the heart of everything we do as we serve millions of nutritious meals every day across India.
We are looking for a passionate Executive – Quality Assurance & Food Safety to join our team in Lucknow, UP, and help us strengthen food safety systems, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure 100% compliance with FIFO & FEFO in stores
- Guarantee acceptance of raw materials meeting approved specifications
- Update daily quality metrics and maintain accurate QA data
- Conduct nutritional value (NV) calculations, BOM updates, and ERP approvals
- Maintain menu NV compliance and variance reporting
- Conduct sensory evaluation of cooked meals with a target score of 9/10
- Achieve >90% GMP score (Green Zone) consistently
- Drive certifications under ISO 22000:2018 and ISO 45001:2018
- Implement EHS standards and monitor hygiene (personal, plant, vehicle)
- Ensure closure of external audit NCs and support paperless QA systems
Eligibility & Skills:
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Food Technology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of FSMS, ISO 22000, ISO 45001
- Experience in nutritional value calculations, audits, ERP systems
- High attention to detail and strong documentation & reporting skills
