Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, has launched its beverage brand Campa in Australia, marking another step in the company’s international expansion strategy.
The brand has entered the Australian market through New Sunrise, becoming the first petrol and convenience retail network in Australia to introduce Campa across its stores.
Campa Enters 1,200 Australian Stores
The initial Campa product range is now available nationwide across approximately 1,200 New Sunrise petrol and convenience stores.
The partnership gives Campa immediate access to a broad retail distribution network, particularly in Australia’s convenience and on-the-go beverage segment.
From Indian Revival to Global Expansion
RCPL acquired the Campa brand in 2022 and relaunched it in India in 2023. Since then, the company has expanded Campa beyond its traditional carbonated soft drink portfolio into categories including juices and packaged drinking water.
Australia is the latest addition to Campa’s international expansion, following its growing presence across GCC countries, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Focus on Value and Convenience
RCPL sees opportunities in Australia for beverage brands positioned around affordability, convenience and variety. Through its partnership with New Sunrise, Campa will be available through a retail channel that serves consumers making impulse and convenience purchases.
The launch also reflects the increasing international ambitions of Indian FMCG companies looking to take established domestic brands into overseas markets.
Building Campa Beyond India
With Australia added to its international portfolio, RCPL is continuing to build Campa’s distribution and visibility across global markets.
The expansion could further increase Campa’s international presence while supporting RCPL’s broader ambitions in the global non-alcoholic beverages market.
