We’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Haldiram-Harrshiv Healthy Foods & More Private Limited in Nagpur to lead our Quality Assurance function and ensure the highest standards of Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory Compliance, and Continuous Improvement across our manufacturing operations. This person in this role will be responsible is responsible for managing quality operations across incoming materials, in-process production, finished goods, hygiene, documentation, regulatory compliance, audits, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and customer compliance requirements while maintaining BRC/FSSAI/HACCP standards.
📍Location: Nagpur (Dhargaon Plant)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and maintain Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) in line with FSSAI, HACCP, BRC, GMP, and GHP requirements.
2. Drive quality assurance and quality control activities for raw materials, in-process products, packaging materials, and finished goods.
3. Manage regulatory compliance, food licenses, labeling approvals, and customer audit requirements.
4. Lead internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits while maintaining audit readiness.
5. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, complaint management, and product recall/traceability systems.
6. Oversee laboratory operations, vendor audits, supplier quality evaluations, and product validation activities.
7. Mentor and develop the Quality team while conducting regular training on Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, GHP, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/master’s in Food technology, Food Science, Microbiology or related field. A master’s degree will be given more preference.
Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Quality Management within the FMCG/Food Manufacturing Industry. Experience in Sweets, Bakery, Snacks, Frozen Foods, Industrial Kitchens, or Packaged Foods will be preferred.
