Mapro Foods Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a hands-on and result-oriented Production Engineer to join our Manufacturing Team at Wai, Maharashtra.

🎓 Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production Engineering

🔧 Role Overview:
The Production Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and manufacturing lines, achieving production targets, minimizing machine downtime, and improving overall production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day production machine and line operations
- Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of production machinery
- Monitor machine performance, output, efficiency and downtime
- Handle machine setting, changeover and production parameters
- Identify machine-related issues and coordinate with the Maintenance Team for timely resolution
- Ensure optimum utilization of machinery, manpower and production resources
- Achieve daily production targets as per the production plan
- Supervise and guide machine operators and production workers
- Monitor and reduce machine downtime and production losses
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores and Planning teams
- Ensure proper machine start-up, shutdown and changeover procedures
- Maintain production and machine-related records and reports
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures and machine operating standards
- Support installation, commissioning and trials of new machines
- Identify opportunities for machine and process improvement
- Implement 5S, TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile:
✔ 3–6 years of experience in Production / Manufacturing Operations
✔ Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering
✔ Hands-on experience in production machinery and manufacturing lines
✔ Experience in machine setting, changeover and troubleshooting
✔ Good understanding of mechanical systems and production equipment
✔ Strong manpower handling and team coordination skills
✔ Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
✔ Knowledge of TPM, 5S and Kaizen will be an advantage
✔ Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with hands-on experience in FMCG production machinery, packaging machines, filling machines, processing lines, conveyors, automatic/semi-automatic machines and other manufacturing equipment will be preferred.
