The journey was started in 1957
with a dream to serve the market with pure and hygienically packed spices and food products. This foresight was efficiently guided by Late. Shri. Dhannalal Jain (Kala), the founding father of JK. He was a True Visionary. He encouraged the team to work with an aim to serve the market with consistency – in quality and services. Hard work and patience paid off during the process.

JK Spices was one of the first companies to introduce Commercial packed spices in small packaging. JK Spices have installed automatic Cleaning & Bichromatic Sortex Plant of Bühler along with ETO Machines to ensure finest quality of Indian Spices are packed in JK packets.

Awareness for quality consciousness helped JK in getting ISO 9001:2000 Certified prior to the competition.

JK Spices is constantly researching and developing new product range and refining the existing ones, developing existing sectors and maximizing every opportunity in the ethnic markets worldwide.

Processing units of company are strategically located at 3 places in India at:

■ Unjha, the hub of spices at North Gujarat;

■ Kolkata – the Cultural Capital of India; and

■ Jaipur – the Pink City.

Job description

  • Application of domain knowledge (formulation/technology transfer/ innovation) to convert ideas into final product as per the intended design Creative development resulting in the launch of new products in both current and new categories.
  • – Should have relevant experience to work with NPD, HACCP, quality, regulatory in executing the ideas
  • – Develop technology competencies necessary to maintain a healthy pipeline of product.
  • – Optimize and scale up manufacturing operations for new products to support the growth of organization.
  • – Maintain and record recipes.
  • – Responsible for the timely and right execution of product development activities including formulation development, supporting pilot & plant trials, sensory evaluation, technology transfer and R&D documentation (specifications, protocols, reports etc.)
  • – Coordinating and managing multidisciplinary projects, with colleagues from Quality, Marketing, external labs, vendors and suppliers
  • Job Type: Full-time
