Nestlé has announced that it will remove Artificial food colours from its entire global product portfolio by the end of 2026, reinforcing its commitment to cleaner ingredients and responding to growing consumer demand for more natural food products.
The Swiss food and beverage company, headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland, confirmed that the initiative will apply across all international markets after successfully eliminating artificial colours from its United States product portfolio.

“By the end of the year we will have the global Nestlé portfolio free of artificial colours.”
Palzer explained that replacing artificial colours required extensive testing of naturally derived alternatives throughout the manufacturing process while maintaining product consistency and stability.

“We did it because consumers don’t appreciate artificial ingredients. They want simpler recipes.”
