Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd (HCCBL) is set to invest ₹1,127 crore in Andhra Pradesh to strengthen its beverage manufacturing capacity and support growing demand across southern India.
The investment includes the development of a new manufacturing facility in Vizianagaram and the expansion of the company’s existing facility at Srikalahasti in Chittoor. The investment plan has been approved by the Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Committee.
₹842 Crore Investment in Vizianagaram
HCCBL will invest approximately ₹842 crore to establish the new manufacturing unit in Vizianagaram.
The first phase of the facility will include three bottling lines with a combined capacity of around 18 million cases annually. These lines will support production of carbonated soft drinks in different pack sizes, along with a juice line and a tetra-pack line.
A second phase is expected to add two additional bottling lines, increasing the facility’s capacity by another 12 million cases per year.
Expansion of Chittoor Facility
The company will invest another ₹285 crore to expand its existing facility at Srikalahasti in Chittoor.
The expansion will include one packaged drinking water bottling line and two carbonated soft drink bottling lines.
The expanded plant is expected to manufacture products across six brands — Coca-Cola, Thums Up, Sprite, Fanta, Limca and Kinley.
The expansion will take place within the existing plant premises, meaning no additional land acquisition is expected.

Strengthening Beverage Supply Across Southern India
With manufacturing facilities planned in both northern Andhra Pradesh and southern Andhra Pradesh, HCCBL aims to strengthen its distribution and production network.
The facilities are expected to help serve beverage demand across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and adjoining markets.
The investment also marks a significant expansion of HCCBL’s manufacturing footprint in Andhra Pradesh, with the company increasing capacity across both carbonated beverages and packaged drinking water.
A Major Manufacturing Expansion
The ₹1,127 crore investment reflects HCCBL’s focus on expanding production infrastructure as beverage consumption continues to grow across southern India.
The new Vizianagaram facility and the Chittoor expansion are expected to add substantial bottling capacity and strengthen the company’s ability to supply its portfolio of beverages to markets across the region.
