The Akshaya Patra Foundation is hiring for an Executive – Quality Assurance & Food Safety position in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Executive – Quality Assurance & Food Safety
Job Location
📍 Jamnagar, Gujarat
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Food Technology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve zero food safety complaints from schools
- Ensure 100% compliance with FIFO and FEFO requirements in stores
- Ensure raw materials meet specifications and are sourced from approved suppliers
- Maintain accurate quality metrics and reports
- Conduct nutritional value calculations and BOM modifications
- Update ERP systems accurately for approvals
- Ensure nutritional value compliance across menus
- Conduct daily sensory evaluation of cooked meals
- Maintain high GMP standards
- Drive certification of kitchens under ISO 22000:2018 and ISO 45001:2018
- Implement EHS standards in selected kitchens
- Ensure compliance during external FSMS and EHS audits
- Conduct hygiene monitoring covering personnel, plant and vehicle hygiene
- Follow laboratory and training calendar requirements
- Support implementation of paperless QA documentation
- Maintain accurate data entry and records in the QA application
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems
- Understanding of ISO 22000 and ISO 45001
- Expertise in nutritional value calculations and ERP systems
- Ability to manage audits, certifications and compliance reporting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commitment to food safety and quality standards
- Good leadership skills in QA documentation and digital systems
