Akshaya Patra Foundation is hiring for the position of Supervisor – Production in its food production operations.

Job Location
📍 Jamnagar, Gujarat
Experience
0–3 years of progressive production experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation or Post Graduation in Science
- Degree should be from a recognized university or institute
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily production activities while ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation practices
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Identify production improvement opportunities and implement solutions
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth production operations
- Conduct regular quality checks and maintain accurate production records
- Manage labour and productivity, including scheduling and time-off requests
- Ensure implementation of process excellence practices such as 5S, Kaizen, GMP, GHP and TPM
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Demonstrate understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food production and food safety
- Understanding of GMP and HACCP
- Experience in team management
- Hands-on experience with MS Office
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management abilities
