Hamma Foods Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Manager – Quality Assurance (QA) to lead quality assurance operations and ensure the highest standards of product quality and food safety across its manufacturing operations.
Experience: 12–15 years of relevant industry experience
Candidates should preferably have current or previous managerial experience in a reputed ice cream or dairy company.
Qualification:
- Diploma or B.Tech in Food Technology
- Dairy Technology
- M.Sc. in Food Technology
- M.Sc. in Microbiology
- Dairy Technology or related qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Quality Assurance activities at the manufacturing unit
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and quality standards
- Manage QA teams and provide training to cross-functional teams
- Monitor product quality and food safety processes
- Conduct and oversee Root Cause Analysis
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Maintain and review ISO-related documentation
- Ensure effective laboratory testing and calibration practices
- Monitor microbiological and quality control processes
- Support implementation and maintenance of HACCP, GMP and ISO 22000 systems
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a managerial QA role within the ice cream or dairy industry
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI and Legal Metrology regulations
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments, analysis and calibration
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP and ISO 22000
- Expertise in RCA and CAPA
- Knowledge of microbiology and quality control processes
- Ability to communicate effectively in Marathi, Hindi and English
- Strong team management and training skills
