Jr. Officer / Officer – Maintenance

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Jr. Officer / Officer – Maintenance to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of plant machinery during the assigned shift. The role will be responsible for preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, team supervision, food safety compliance and minimizing equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations
- Execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and timely resolution of breakdowns.
- Maintain packing machines, pumps, conveyors and processing lines.
- Coordinate with the Production team for uninterrupted plant operations.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians during the shift.
- Allocate work, monitor performance and provide on-the-job guidance.
- Ensure proper shift handover and documentation.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP, FSSAI and ISO 22000 requirements.
- Follow LOTO, PTW and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure tools, spare parts and maintenance equipment are maintained in hygienic condition.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain shift logbooks, breakdown reports, equipment history cards and preventive maintenance records.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper recording and utilization of spare parts.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering
- 3–6 years of experience in plant maintenance activities.
- Experience in FMCG / Food Processing will be preferred.
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing and compliance standards is desirable.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
