- Job Title: Officer/Executive – Regulatory Affairs and R&D
- Location: Kothur, Hyderabad

Job Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure 100% compliance with relevant statutes and regulations for business continuity.
- Monitor amendments in regulations and advise necessary changes to product formulations
- Review and ensure compliance with FSSR, LM, and ICMR RDA-2020 for all packaging materials.
- Ensure ingredients and additives in new product development are permissible and within acceptable limits.
- Attend external industrial body meetings and internal regulatory meetings.
- Artwork Compliance:
- Timely communicate artwork/label changes for all products and SKUs.
- Conduct 100% compliance checks of artwork as per regulations.
- Documentation:
- Develop and maintain documentation for new products, including RM- FG Specs, and Product Formulation Sheets.
- Develop SOI’s for license applications
- Work on data development for FOPNL, Nutritional Labelling, and Star ratings as per draft regulations.
- Vegan Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with vegan food logo requirements in all applicable products.
- Participate in SOP development and licensing & approvals for the Vegan Food Logo.
- Support to R&D Team:
- Helps in ideation, development, and launch of new variants in various categories, including Ready to Eat food, Extruded Snacks, Instant Popcorn, Breakfast cereals, Microwave Popcorn, and RTE Popcorn variants, Chocolate Panned Confectionery, and more.
- Conduct sensory and physicochemical evaluations to determine the shelf life of new and existing products.

- Laboratory Management:
- Make Test Request Forms to labs for NI, shelf life and other tests
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments regularly.
- Manage AMC for all lab instruments.
- Develop protocols for in-house testing to offset testing costs
- Environmental Sustainability:
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Packaging, and Quality teams to reduce Carbon Emissions, Waste Water, Manufacturing Waste, and Packaging Waste.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
