JOB PURPOSE
- To ensure adherence to laid down Quality standards and systems by effective monitoring the Quality of Dry goods, Wet goods, Stock In process, Finished goods, online Quality non-conformances w.r.t input, in process and outputs and GMP compliance at the manufacturing units.
- The role reports to the Unit Head with a dotted line reporting to the Regional Quality Manager. The job requires close working with all operational functions of the unit for periodic inspections and analysis, documentation verification, assessment of GMP and SOP compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Periodic Inspection and analysis of Quality cleared dry goods and wet goods.
- Analysis of online blend samples and finished products for physical, chemical and sensory parameters.
- Periodic EOL Checks for Finished Goods during packing operations.
- Checks of finished Goods in warehouse.
- Verification of records pertaining to Quality & product safety.
- Monitoring GMP compliance.
- Timely Reporting of non-conformances observed and their resolution.
- MIS/dashboard reporting
- Monitor adherence to SOPs in blending and packing operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate in Engineering/Food /Dairy Technology
EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Quality/ manufacturing function in a food & beverage industry of good repute.
- Hands on knowledge on handling and calibration of analytical instruments.
- Experience in analysis of wet goods and dry goods.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge on Quality Management Standards appropriate to the business with experience of their application in a large scale-manufacturing and packing environment.
- Exposure/ knowledge on FSSAI and other relevant regulations of the industry
- Experience on use of statistical tools and their applications
- Strong interpersonal skills, good communicator, sound administrator with very good working knowledge of computer
- Knowledge of ERP platform
