Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) is planning an investment of more than ₹600 crore to establish an integrated food and beverage park at Haringhata in Nadia, West Bengal. The project will mark the company’s first major investment in the state and is expected to expand its manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities.
The proposed facility will be developed across 30 acres of land, with the foundation stone ceremony scheduled for October 28.
New Manufacturing Hub for RCPL
The Haringhata facility is expected to become an important manufacturing base for RCPL as the company continues to expand its presence across India’s fast-moving consumer goods market.
RCPL currently has manufacturing operations in states including Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. The new West Bengal facility will add another strategic location to its growing production network.
Multiple Food and Consumer Categories
The integrated park is expected to support the company’s expanding portfolio across several categories, including:
- Beverages
- Staples
- Snacks
- Confectionery
- Personal care products
- Ice cream
The investment could help RCPL improve its ability to manufacture and distribute products closer to eastern and northeastern markets.
Strengthening the Supply Chain
The project comes as Reliance continues to scale its consumer brands, including Campa and other products under the RCPL portfolio.
An integrated manufacturing and food-processing facility could provide the company with greater control over production, logistics and regional distribution, while also strengthening its supply-chain network.
The proposed investment reflects Reliance Consumer Products’ broader strategy of building manufacturing infrastructure alongside the rapid expansion of its FMCG business.
