Educational Qualifications:
Research Associate-I
- PhD in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Food Technology
- Desirable: Experience in natural product development, in-vivo/in-vitro studies, molecular and gene expression techniques, PCR, Western blotting, docking, etc.
Young Professional-II
- M.Tech/M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Process Engineering, Food Technology & Management, Food Science/Food & Nutrition, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- For M.Sc. candidates, 3 years of undergraduate degree with NET qualification is required.
Young Professional-I
- B.Tech or M.Sc. in relevant disciplines including Food Technology, Food Process Engineering, Food Technology & Management, Food Science/Food & Nutrition, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- For SRP-69: B.Tech in Food Technology/Food Engineering/Food Process Technology/Food Science & Technology/Agricultural Engineering.
- For STG-11: M.Tech/PhD or relevant M.Sc./PG qualifications in Food Process Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Technology, Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, Food Technology & Management, Food Process Engineering & Management, Food Plant Operations & Management, Food Safety & Quality Management, Post-Harvest Technology, Food Process Technology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Engineering or Packaging Technology, as specified in the notification.
General Information:
- Age limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
- Application fee: ₹500.
- Fee exemption: SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates.
- Candidates must bring the filled application form, original certificates, mark sheets/grade cards, relevant certificates, publications (where applicable), 2 colour passport-size photographs, CV and photocopies of relevant documents.
- The interview will be conducted in person at NIFTEM-T, Thanjavur.
- No TA/DA will be provided.
- Appointments are purely temporary and project-based.
- Selected candidates will be required to devote their full time to the assigned project.
