Nestlé has introduced a new generation of dessert culinary solutions designed to make homemade desserts easier and faster to prepare. The new range allows consumers to create popular desserts in just three steps and with less than 15 minutes of active preparation time.
The initiative is part of Nestlé’s Modern Cooking growth platform and is launching initially in Brazil and China, combining a common innovation platform with desserts adapted to local consumer preferences.
Desserts Made Simpler
The new solutions enable consumers to prepare a variety of desserts, including pudding, tiramisù, cheesecake and brigadeirão. The Brazil portfolio includes Moça Pudding and Moça Brigadeirão, while China will introduce Nestlé Tiramisù and Nestlé Cheesecake.
Stephanie Arnesen, Category Lead – Dairy Culinary Solutions, Food Strategic Business Unit at Nestlé, said the initiative demonstrates how the company is combining global innovation with local relevance.
According to Nestlé, the products are designed to help consumers prepare homemade desserts with greater confidence while reducing the complexity traditionally associated with baking and dessert preparation.
Bake-Off Demonstrates the Concept
To showcase the simplicity of the new range, Nestlé organised an in-house dessert bake-off featuring products such as tiramisù, flan and cheesecake.
The event focused on demonstrating the three-step preparation concept rather than relying solely on a conventional product demonstration.
The launch will also be supported through social and digital content, influencer-led brand communities, e-retail, product sampling and point-of-sale activities.
Growing Demand for Easier Dessert Preparation
Nestlé highlighted several consumer and category trends supporting the launch:
- 84% of consumers say they would bake more often if it were easier.
- The ready-to-prepare sweet segment represents an estimated CHF 98 billion opportunity.
- Consumer testing recorded trial scores of 120 for Pudding, 138 for Cheesecake and 137 for Tiramisù, compared with an Ipsos action benchmark of 115.
Building on 160 Years of Dessert Expertise
The launch comes as Nestlé celebrates 160 years of dessert expertise. The company says the new range represents another step in its evolution from supplying individual ingredients to providing more complete culinary solutions.
By combining a scalable innovation platform with locally relevant dessert products, Nestlé aims to make dessert preparation more accessible while creating new opportunities for growth in the ready-to-prepare sweet category.
