Heritage Foods Ltd has announced the acquisition of a 51% stake in Peanutbutter and Jelly Pvt Ltd, the parent company of health-focused ice cream brand Get-A-Way, for ₹9 crore. The strategic move marks Heritage Foods’ entry into the functional food segment, expanding its portfolio beyond traditional dairy products.
The acquisition is expected to be completed within 45 days, making Get-A-Way a subsidiary of Heritage Foods. The remaining 49% stake will continue to be held by the existing promoters, who will also manage the day-to-day operations.
As part of the agreement, Heritage Foods plans to acquire an additional 20% stake after March 2026 at the then-prevailing valuation.
Expanding into Functional and Health Foods
Founded in 2018, Get-A-Way has carved a niche in the premium health dessert market, specializing in high-protein, no-added-sugar ice creams and desserts made with whey protein and natural sugar alternatives.

Get-A-Way’s Co-founder and CEO, Jash Shah, added, “With Heritage Foods’ manufacturing scale and distribution strength, we are poised to expand our footprint across India.”
Financial Growth and Vision 2030
Peanutbutter and Jelly Pvt Ltd reported revenues of ₹7.89 crore in FY 2023, ₹14.80 crore in FY 2024, and ₹18.08 crore in FY 2025 — showing strong growth momentum in the health dessert category.
The acquisition aligns with Heritage Foods’ Vision 2030 strategy, which focuses on expanding beyond dairy into functional and health-oriented food categories.
By leveraging Heritage Foods’ established supply chain and Get-A-Way’s innovation-driven product line, the company aims to capture a larger share of India’s rapidly growing health-conscious consumer market.
