Driving Operational Excellence (OE) initiative at Supply Chain Centre (SCC), Mohali
Identification and effective execution of OE projects that deliver substantial, measurable, and sustainable business impact.
Lead initiatives that help in standardization and improved control of core SCC processes.
Enable the SCC to deliver on productivity targets and become a benchmark in the markets in which it operates.
Employee engagement and competency building in OE methodologies.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver targeted results through identification, structuring, and execution of business process improvement and re-engineering projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other data analytics tool/methodologies / frameworks
Lead and facilitate efforts to promote ideation and instill a culture of continuous improvement throughout the SCC
Facilitate and lead an assessment of current processes including internal and external benchmarking and performance measurement
Facilitate sharing and implementation of best practices from within and outside the organization
Create a cadre of Six Sigma professionals (Green Belts) through coaching and mentoring to help them identify and execute Lean Six Sigma projects
Develop and influence new ideas/approaches to project management and problem-solving; establish procedures, plans and practices which promote the adoption of appropriate solutions and sustainability of desired results in complex operational environments
