JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Executive – QA to ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, GMP/GHP, quality documentation and established quality systems across manufacturing operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for shop-floor quality activities, in-process checks, quality documentation, deviations, CAPA, change control and coordination with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GHP, SOPs, quality standards and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Monitor manufacturing and packaging activities for adherence to approved SOPs and quality requirements.
• Perform line clearance before manufacturing and packaging activities.
• Conduct and document in-process quality checks and inspections.
• Review and maintain production records, quality records, logbooks, checklists and inspection reports.
• Handle deviations, incidents and non-conformances, including investigations, CAPA and root cause analysis.
• Initiate, review and monitor Change Control activities.
• Prepare, review, revise and maintain SOPs, work instructions, formats, reports and QA documentation.
• Support quality systems, process validation, qualification and related documentation.
• Participate in internal, customer and external audits.
• Support timely closure of audit observations, deviations and CAPA commitments.
• Monitor manufacturing processes for adherence to defined quality parameters and approved procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Warehouse, Maintenance and other departments for quality-related activities.
• Identify, document and escalate quality and compliance-related issues.
• Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints and quality-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate, complete and traceable QA records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
🎓 Educational Qualification
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Life Sciences or a relevant Science discipline.
• Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a manufacturing or process industry.
• Candidates from FMCG, Food, Beverage, Chemical, Healthcare or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GHP, SOPs, quality systems and Good Documentation Practices.
• Hands-on experience in in-process quality checks, line clearance, inspection and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of deviation, CAPA, Change Control, RCA, investigation and non-conformance management.
• Understanding of quality systems and process compliance.
• Exposure to internal, customer and external audits.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
• 1+ years of hands-on QA/QC experience in a manufacturing or process industry.
• Good exposure to shop-floor quality activities and quality compliance.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, SOPs, CAPA, deviations and RCA.
• Candidates with experience in FMCG, Food, Beverage, Chemical, Healthcare or similar manufacturing industries are preferred.
• Experience in audits, quality inspections, process monitoring and documentation will be an added advantage.
• Strong coordination skills with Production, QC, Warehouse, Maintenance and other departments.
