Head of Food Technology

What You’ll Do:
As the Head of Food Technology, you’ll lead our technical vision — from product development to production integrity. You’ll drive innovation, safety, scalability, and quality across the board, balancing craft with science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and lead the R&D, QA/QC, and production tech verticals
- Develop and execute NPD pipelines with strong cross-functional collaboration
- Build SOPs, food safety systems, and traceability frameworks for scale
- Oversee compliance, lab testing protocols, and shelf-life improvements
- Manage supplier audits, ingredient sourcing validations, and tech transfer
- Lead and mentor the food tech + production teams
- Be the bridge between brewing art and scientific precision
Who You Are:
- M.Tech / PhD in Food Science, Food Technology, or related disciplines
- 8+ years of experience, preferably in a beverage startup or FMCG setup
- Proven experience with fermented products or clean-label innovation
- Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills
- Passionate about natural foods, gut health, and wellness-driven product design
- Familiar with regulatory frameworks and third-party certifications (FSSAI, HACCP, etc.)
