We are looking for an experienced Manager – R&D to lead product development and commercialization across ketchup, sauces, gravies, pickles, chutneys, mayonnaise, jams, and retort-processed foods for Retail & HORECA.
Key Responsibilities
- New Product Development & Reformulation
- Scale-up from lab to plant & manufacturing handover
- Sensory evaluation, benchmarking & consistency
- Shelf-life & stability studies (real-time & accelerated)
- Regulatory compliance (FSSAI, labeling, claims)
- Cost optimization & value engineering
- Raw material & vendor development
- Strong documentation, SOPs & technical training
Ideal Candidate Profile:
🎓 M.Tech / M.Sc. – Food Technology / Food Science
📊 8–12 years of hands-on R&D experience
🍅 Strong exposure to sauces, ketchup, gravies, pickles, mayonnaise, jams, or retort foods
🏭 Proven experience in commercialization & plant trials
📜 Good understanding of FSSAI regulations
🗣️ Strong communication & documentation skills
