Job Title: Store- Sr. Executive/AM (Spices)
Reports to: Operations Head
Job Overview:
The Spice Store Person is responsible for managing the spice inventory, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area. This role involves applying knowledge of food technology to ensure the quality and safety of spice products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP, and quality standards in spice storage and handling.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spice stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records and minimizing stock discrepancies.
3. Spice Handling and Storage: Store spices according to their specific requirements, ensuring optimal conditions to maintain quality and prevent spoilage.
4. Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to detect any signs of spoilage, contamination, or damage, and report any issues to the Quality Assurance Manager.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, receipts, dispatches, and quality control checks.
6. Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure the storage area is cleaned and sanitized regularly to prevent contamination.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field
2. Experience: Previous experience in food storage, inventory management, or quality control
3. Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
4. Certifications: Food safety certifications (e.g., FSSAI) would be an added advantage
