Main Purpose of Job:
Sippoer in small or medium R&D project swith a high impact on the business. Assist in managing the project on the R&D/development side in alignment with Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiative. Interact proactively with the other functions, especially the business lead and operations to ensure the overall project objectives.
Key Outputs:
List the main areas in which the job must deliver in order to achieve its purpose
Project Management:
- Deliver product(s)/process(es)/system(s)/solution(s) with defined quality at defined time and cost (when applicable)
- Provide continuous support to ensure the future commercial success of the business by considering the whole picture and the context of this project and future projects
- Support in End to End projects’ management in NPDI that are within timelines and project costs.
- Stakeholder Management
- Acquiring, generating and recording effectively new knowledge
Product Development:
- New product development as per the Project brief (Innovation/ Renovation)
- Innovation concept development to continuosly feed to the innovation pipeline for the category
- Identifying new opportunity areas, collaboration with external partners in order to fuel.build the innovation pipeline so as to be leading in the category
Resource Management:
- Effective resource planning- Ensure the resources are available for the project as required
- Vertical and horizontal communication
- In a matrix like organization: Manage the resources (including budget) allocated to the project
- In a “projectized” organization: deliver project deliverables as per timelines

Key Experiences:
- Bachelors / Masters Food Technology
- Total 5+ years of experience
- Has a minimum 3 years Product Develeopment & Project Management experience
- Has a minimum of 2 years experience in R&D
- Has a minimum 1 year experience in Operations and/or technical/commercial function in SBU (through missions or assignments)
- Has demonstrated the courage and ability to take decisions and solve problems
- Has proven communication skills (Presents confidently and convincingly to steering committees.)
Functional or Professional / Business:
- Knowledge on Spices and its applications, Recipe developments (D)
- Kowledge on Noodle Ingredients and Process Recipe developments (S)
- Project Management skills; PMI certification for PMP identified and ongoing (S)
- Organization skills (D) (to run a meeting, to organize an effective follow-up)
- Networking capabilities and multidisciplinary teamwork (D)
- Ability to Influence people
- If PMI certified, shares his/her PM experience/knowledge through training and coaching
