New Product Development Manager – Tranq Labs
Seeking a skilled and passionate NPD manager to join our team and play a critical role in advancing our mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, 1-3 years of NPD experience, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives through quality nutrition.
Job Description:
- Develop innovative food recipes while working as part of cross-function team, with a focus on clean and wholesome nutrition
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including new product development, nutritional analysis, liaison with external laboratories for shelf life and nutritional testing, existing product portfolio management based on market trends and customer feedback
- Support other functions including vendor management, food regulatory and marketing from product perspective
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Technology & Processing, Nutrition or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience as an NPD executive, preferably in a healthy foods oriented foods brands or in a consulting setup for the same
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset to take new challenges head-on
- Deep knowledge of Food science, nutritional science and dietary guidelines, and health promotion
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
