In the late 80s, Shri Shivratan Agarwal decided to walk his path and create a new identity for himself, this lead to the birth of the brand Bikaji. At the time when the technology to produce Bhujia on a large scale was unthought of, Shri Agarwal successfully laid the foundation of his dream venture. Not only, he ventured across the world to find and co-invent the right technology for producing bhujia; but he also managed to find an easy to remember name for the brand, that would easily connect with the consumers. The name Bikaji is derived from Bika Rao- the founder of Bikaner and Ji, used as a mark of respect in India. Shri Agarwal’s vision was to give the world, a taste of Aslee Parampara. He desired to reach every consumer with authentic Indian taste, that reflects India’s culture and values. Over the years, Bikaji has managed to win hearts across the globe, with its power of ethnic-snacking. Today, Bikaji stands for authentic Indian taste, with diverse products and innovative packaging, adding to its commitment of taking Aslee Indian taste to the world.

In addition, we have one facility in Mumbai to manage our Mumbai restaurant sales
We intend to operationalise five additional manufacturing facilities, of which one in Rajasthan will be owned and operated by us and will manufacture our frozen products, and for the remaining four manufacturing facilities in Rajasthan, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, we have entered into contract manufacturing agreements on an exclusive basis for the manufacture of namkeen and western snacks, which are expected to commence commercial operations over the next two years.
We manufacture Bikaneri bhujia, a traditional crispy snack which is made using dew bean (moth dal), gram flour (besan), edible oil, salt, and various spices, and is light yellow in colour. It is famously known to have been first prepared in Bikaner and enjoys geographical indication tagging and has grown over years from being a cottage industry product to being manufactured in large scale in state of art manufacturing units. We are the largest manufacturer of Bikaneri bhujia in India (Source: F&S Report) and produced 26,690 tonnes in Fiscal 2021. We manufacture Bikaneri bhujia at our manufacturing facility in Bikaner using the traditional furnaces (where bhujia is made by hand) and automated furnaces which are then blended and packed in a state-of-the-art automated packaging plant, which gives our Bikaneri bhujia a distinctive, authentic and exclusive taste. Our key export regions for our Bhujia outside India include Asia Pacific, North America and Middle East.
