NIFTEM is the brainchild of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). MoFPI in its Vision document-2015, envisaged creation of a world-class institution to cater to the various stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, industry, exporters, policy makers, government and existing institution. NIFTEM would work actively in assisting in setting food standards, businesses incubation and information sharing. It would also be an apex institution in the field of food technology and management, networking and coordinating with other institutions in the same field. # NIFTEM is being established at Kundli, District Sonipat, Haryana, as an international center of excellence to cater to the needs of various stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, industry, exporters, policy makers, government and existing institutions.

The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, is inviting applications for a Consultant (Contract Basis) position.
📌 Project: Fortification Innovation Hub
📍 Location: Kundli, Haryana
📅 Contract Duration: 6 Months
💰 Salary: ₹40,000 per month (Consolidated)

🎂 Age Limit: Up to 45 years (relaxation as per Govt. norms)
Eligibility:
✔ Master’s in Food Science, Nutrition, Life Science, Environmental Science
✔ OR Master’s/Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Communication, Marketing, Brand Management
✔ Experience in food fortification, public health communication, or digital outreach preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Support national food fortification initiatives
• Develop IEC & digital marketing content
• Coordinate with industry & state partners
• Create communication strategies & outreach materials
