Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has acquired a majority stake in Sydney-based Goodness Group Global (GGG).
The landmark transaction marks RCPL’s entry into the fast-growing Australian consumer market and underlines its ambition to bring “global quality at affordable prices” to international shoppers.
Strategic Push into Health-Focused Drinks
Under the partnership, RCPL will scale GGG’s flagship brands — including Nexba and PACE — across new geographies such as India. PACE is a hydration beverage co-created with Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins.
The deal strengthens RCPL’s push into wellness-led beverages, adding to its existing portfolio of fruit juices, zero-sugar carbonated soft drinks and herbal-natural drink lines. RCPL already operates in markets such as the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Leadership Speaks on Global Expansion
Commenting on the acquisition, RCPL Director T. Krishnakumar said the move would accelerate the company’s global FMCG ambitions.
“The addition of GGG’s health-focused brands like Nexba and PACE will significantly strengthen RCPL’s portfolio. With our supply chain and distribution capabilities, we will expand these brands into newer markets and ensure wide availability in India.”
GGG Founder Troy Douglas called the alliance transformational for the Australian beverage company.
“RCPL is one of the fastest-growing FMCG players globally. Together, we aim to become a major force in up to 50 western markets over the next five years and lead the ‘Better-For-You’ category worldwide.”
