The first day of World Food India 2025 in New Delhi witnessed landmark investment announcements in the presence of Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Shri Chirag Paswan. Two major players—Reliance Consumer Products Limited and the Coca-Cola System—committed a combined investment of ₹65,000 crore in India’s food sector.

The company is also focused on expanding its footprint in rural India, ensuring wider product availability and deeper consumer reach.
Reliance Consumer Products Limited’s Investment
Reliance Consumer Products Limited pledged ₹40,000 crore, marking one of the largest commitments in the food processing industry. The investment will focus on building a modern retail network, developing a robust supply chain, and fostering direct engagement with Indian farmers. This move is expected to improve product quality, strengthen food security, and enhance the availability of processed food products nationwide.
