Job Title: Quality Executive
Location: Dommasandra, Bangalore, India (in-plant position)
We’re currently looking for a motivated and adaptable Quality Executive to join our passionate team at our manufacturing facility and help ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Job Description:
The Quality Executive will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene across all stages of production — from raw material sourcing to final product dispatch. The candidate will work closely with the production, procurement, and R&D teams to implement and monitor quality protocols, conduct lab-based product testing, and ensure compliance with FSSAI and internal SOPs. The ideal candidate will have a background in Food Technology, and a strong sense of ownership, with a passion for clean, nutritious food.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality assessment of raw materials (grains, pulses, etc.) as per defined SOPs.
• Perform quality checks on freshly-milled flours and other products to ensure they meet established product specifications.
• Carry out hygiene audits across the plant and production processes, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Maintain and update all quality records and documentation in accordance with FSSAI and HACCP guidelines.
• Investigate customer feedback and complaints related to product quality; conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and prepare detailed reports.
• Execute regular lab tests on flours, including moisture analysis, gluten content, and other relevant quality parameters.
• Collaborate with the production, procurement, and R&D teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed.
Requirements:
• Education: B.Tech / M.Sc in Food Technology or related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a similar quality role in a food processing setup.
• Sound understanding of FSSAI standards, food safety norms, and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision.
• High level of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Experience in lab-based testing of flours and grains is a strong advantage
