🧀 Technical Service & Application Specialist – Cheese (South Asia)
🎯 Purpose of the Role
Drive business growth in the Cheese Category by supporting sales teams and customers in launching successful products that meet local consumer needs for:
- Taste
- Functionality
- Affordability
You will act as a strong technical expert, co-creating value with customers using innovative cultures and enzyme solutions for various cheese types.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Business & Technical Support
- Define and execute technical service plans in collaboration with Sales and Account Managers
- Develop prototypes, concepts, products, and applications in the cheese category
- Work closely with the Head Technical to drive innovation
2️⃣ Customer & Field Support
- Manage customer complaints with technical advice and troubleshooting
- Act as technical expert at customer sites
- Organize and lead plant trials for validation of new/improved products
- Conduct plant audits and line studies to identify and resolve bacteriophage issues
3️⃣ Business Development
- Develop cultures & enzyme business through:
- Technical workshops
- Campaigns
- Training programs
4️⃣ Travel Requirement
Extensive travel across South Asia for:
- Plant trials
- Technical training
- Troubleshooting
🛠 Other Responsibilities
- Contribute to product development and innovation
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 22000:2018 food safety systems
- Handle technical customer complaints effectively

🎓 Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy / Food Science
- Specialization in Dairy Technology preferred
🏭 Professional Experience
- 8–10 years of dairy / food industry experience
- Background in cheese production, quality, or R&D
- Strong knowledge of cultures, enzymes, and cheese products
- Understanding of industrial setup and GMP
- Excellent technical knowledge of dairy/food manufacturing
🌍 Language Requirement
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Professional attitude with attention to detail
- Team player able to influence managers at all levels
