Job Description:
QA/QC Executive Edible Oil
Qualification – Bachelor’s/Master’s in food science / engineering or related field.
Experience – 02 to 05 years
* Perform physico-chemical and sensory testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished edible oil products.
* Inspect and verify quality of packing materials to ensure compliance with specifications and food safety standards.
* Prepare and issue accurate Certificates of Analysis (COA) for raw materials, packing materials, and finished products.
* Plan, coordinate, and manage third-party audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met and corrective actions implemented.
* Plan and conduct internal quality and hygiene audits across production, packing, and laboratory areas.
* Develop and conduct training programs on plant hygiene, personal hygiene, and quality awareness.
* Maintain comprehensive quality control documentation including test reports, audit records, and training logs.
* Conduct online QC checks on finished products including batch number verification, manufacturing and expiry date validation, weight and packaging integrity confirmation.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (FSSAI, BIS, etc.) and internal quality standards.
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformities through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Oversee calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
* Collaborate with production, procurement, packing, and supply chain teams to maintain consistent product quality.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives in product quality, hygiene, packing integrity, and process efficiency.
