Procurement Associate- Indirect Procurement, Corporate Shared Service, Bangalore, INDIA

We are seeking innovative and highly skilled Supply Chain Management professionals to join Novozymes Procurement organization, to support the Procurement operations & develop the current process.
This position is based in Novozymes Bangalore, India, with strong cross-functional collaboration linkages to other Novozymes global sites in Europe and US. The positions require to perform process to deliver the best to our customers more efficiently and effectively.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess challenging the status quo and thinking out of the box mindset, towards developing innovative solutions & to support the end-to-end procurement / Raw Material from pre-purchasing service, purchases order handling, delivery, complaints and related daily business activities within category of responsibility. Carry out Purchasing /Invoice/ administrative related routines within areas of responsibilities in the department on an operational level.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for Indirect Procurement for EMA/US/APAC region
- Identify opportunities with new suppliers and alternate suppliers
- Conduct virtual meetings to identify Stakeholder requirements – train organization, Measure satisfaction, Increase contract compliance
- Purchase order creation(call off) and Order management
- Communication on several levels (externally and internally) which should be driven by presence of mind and professionalism
- Should be ready to work in Shifts
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good level of knowledge and understanding of the Source to Pay Process is desired.
- Knowledge of SAP SRM, Trade shift and IBX Cabin is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and good business acumen
- 1 – 3 years of working experience
- Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a “global mind set”
