Key Responsibilities:
Third-Party Development & Operations
- Support scouting, feasibility and industrialisation of new third-party manufacturing projects.
- Lead and manage third-party operations and ensure readiness as per project timelines.
- Drive efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives across existing co-manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement the right business blueprint in line with company and central 3PO guidelines.
- Conduct proactive risk assessments and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
- Develop risk mitigation plans for potential disruptions and ensure timely communication with third parties.
Third-Party Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with third-party manufacturers.
- Collaborate with 3PO Procurement on new and renewal contracts.
- Support third parties in improving service levels and operational performance.
- Assess third-party performance and develop appropriate gap-filling action plans.
Compliance, FSQ & H&S
- Ensure third parties meet all mandatory certifications and key compliance requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on audit findings and corrective action plans.
- Ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained across third-party products and processes.
- Provide guidance on Health & Safety requirements and company policies.
- Support sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational targets.
Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor and report key performance indicators and agreed targets.
- Track performance through central databases and conduct Root Cause Analysis where required.
- Analyse monthly cost and production variances and provide clear explanations.
- Report project progress to relevant local and central stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
Education
- Degree in any discipline.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience, preferably in the FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry.
- Experience in third-party manufacturing, co-manufacturing, operations, quality or supply chain will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Understanding of food safety, quality, compliance and manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
