Open Positions:
1. Quality Control (QC) Executive
- Location: Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu (On-site)
- Experience: 1–5 years (Pharmaceutical / Food / Nutraceuticals)
Role Overview:
As a Quality Control Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring that our raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet the highest quality and regulatory standards. This position provides an opportunity to work with advanced analytical techniques, contribute to compliance excellence, and strengthen Jivita’s reputation as a trusted nutraceutical manufacturer.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality specifications.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, UV, GC, IR, and TLC, ensuring accurate performance and reliable test results.
- Prepare, review, and maintain COAs, test reports, and laboratory records in line with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct stability studies and impurity profiling to monitor product consistency and long-term safety.
- Identify and document deviations or OOS results, support investigations, and assist in implementing effective CAPA actions.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, FSSAI, and internal quality systems across all QC activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field.
- 1–5 years of QC experience in Pharma, Food, or Nutraceuticals.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV, IR).
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
2. Quality Assurance (QA) Executive
- Location: Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu (On-site)
- Experience: Fresher or up to 12 months (Pharma / Food / Nutraceuticals)
Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our systems, processes, and documentation align with industry and regulatory standards. This role provides the opportunity to strengthen Jivita’s quality systems, maintain certification requirements, and contribute to operational excellence across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee QA systems in alignment with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other applicable standards to ensure compliance at all stages of production.
- Review and approve SOPs, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), and Batch Packaging Records (BPRs), ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in internal and vendor audits, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support regulatory inspections.
- Record, investigate, and track deviations, complaints, and non-conformities, while assisting in CAPA planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, WHO-GMP, ISO, and export certification requirements
- Provide training and guidance to production and QC teams on quality standards and documentation practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 1–5 years of QA experience in Pharma, Food, or Nutraceuticals.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, HACCP, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in documentation management, compliance monitoring, and process oversight.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination.
3. QA/QC Executive – Trainee
- Location: Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu (On-site)
- Experience: Fresher or up to 12 months (Pharma / Food / Nutraceuticals)
Role Overview:
As a QA/QC Trainee Executive, you will gain hands-on experience in both quality assurance and quality control functions. This entry-level role is designed to provide exposure to testing, documentation, and regulatory processes, offering a strong foundation for a long-term career in the nutraceutical, food and pharmaceutical industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Help in preparing and maintaining QA documentation such as SOPs, batch records, and compliance logs, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Learn to operate laboratory instruments (HPLC, TLC, UV) and maintain calibration records.
- Participate in inspections, audits and compliance activities.
- Work closely with production, QC, and R&D teams to understand quality requirements and contribute to maintaining product standards.
- Develop practical knowledge of GMP, GLP, and nutraceutical quality systems while building analytical, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Freshers or up to 12 months of QA/QC experience in Pharma, Food, or Nutraceuticals.
- Basic knowledge of lab techniques and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
