Nutrihub TBISC is the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India supported Technology Business Incubator hosted by the Indian Institute of Millet Research, ICAR – IIMR, Hyderabad.
Nutrihub is a unique and first of its kind organisation to cater start-ups needs in the Nutricereals sector of the country. We Encourage the budding Entrepreneurs to promote the growth of Nutricereals (Millets), the Climate Resilient Future Crops.
Nutrihub is a focal point where ideas, entrepreneurs, agriprenuers, start-ups, experts, the academic and the funding agencies shall gravitate towards creation of a new knowledge-based economy. ICAR-IIMR through its TBI would like to contribute to the success of the National Innovation system, by providing the right ambience and infrastructure for nurturing innovation, technical skills and entrepreneurial talents of thousands of millets stakeholders.
Nutrihub has the requisite expertise available in-house in the relevant focal areas of Nutri-cereals and also proposes to conduct events ranging from events on cooking with millets, spreading awareness or promotion of millets and value-added products along with technology transfer. Sensitization Workshops, Boot Camps and Company Management Seminars. The incubator is well connected with transport and communication system horizontal dissemination of millets promotion and commercialization across the country.
Name of the post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF); Project: NAIF-ZTMC
- Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (HRA as per ICAR rules)
Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in the Food process engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ M.Tech (Mechatronics)/ Agricultural and Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Sciences and
Nutrition/ Food Chemistry and allied fields. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years research
experience.
Desirable: Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, basic knowledge in cereals processing machinery, working knowledge on designing of machinery/ modification using software like Auto CAD/ solidworks postharvest machinery, primary processing machinery, also able to handle lab equipment, ability to analyze statistical data and documentation
Skills.
- Proficiency in English, and sufficient knowledge in MS-Office
- Computer usage.
- Willing to travel

Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the Food process engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ M.Tech (Mechatronics)/ Agricultural and Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Sciences and Nutrition/ Food Chemistry and allied fields. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years research experience.

Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the Food Technology/ food science and nutrition. Food chemistry and allied fields. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s Degree should have NET qualification and 2 years research experience. Having secured 60% marks in qualifying degree.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in new product development, advanced food processing techniques and knowledge in plant proteins, nano particles application in product development especially with reference to millets; food chemistry and nutrition; expertise in handling lab instruments, ability to analyze statistical data and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in English, and MS-Office
- Willing to travel
Terms & Conditions:
- The above posts are purely temporary and on contractual basis till expiry of the project.
- The age limit of above position is up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview. (Age
can be relaxed upto 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules) - For the post of Assistant Business Manager (S.No-6) under RKVY-RAFTAAR project, the age limit is 40 years for
both men and women. (age relaxation of 5 years is allowed for exceptional cases) - The candidates shall send filled in Applications in the proforma enclosed along with a passport size photograph
and a set of self-attested copies of requisite mark-sheet, certificates and supporting documentsto the below given
mail id. - Candidates have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verifications.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

to the meeting for the interview as per the list. - The decision of the Director, ICAR-IIMR is final and binding in all respects.
- The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment/absorption in ICAR-IIMR, Hyderabad or funding
